Empowering Youth to Rise

MORE PROGRAMS

Our Programs

The iRise Foundation offers a variety of programs aimed at empowering youth and their families

Think Outside the Box

Unique Transformations' "Live with Intention" workshop teaches youth the power of visualization, meditation, and intention-setting to achieve their goals by creating action plans and fostering positive habits.

Legacy Builders

A comprehensive Leadership and Character-Building program. The program is designed to combine academics, nutrition, mental wellness, cultural experiences, and career guidance to build skills and confidence.

Healing Invisible Scars

The Uniquely Me Project is a three-day program focusing on identity, intimacy, and mental health. Youth learn strategies to overcome challenges like depression, anxiety, and body image issues while connecting with peers in a supportive environment.

Forget Me Not

A self-awareness and self-acceptance program that helps youth understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while fostering a positive self-image and resilience.

She Ascends

A program for young ladies focusing on self-discovery, body image, and confidence. Participants are encouraged to embrace their identities and advocate for their needs, supported by a strong community.

Be The Change

A program educating youth on systemic disparities, the power of their voice, and the importance of voting. It aims to equip youth and their families with the knowledge to navigate the system and advocate for their beliefs.

Employment Success Program

Focuses on developing essential employment skills like communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability, preparing youth for success in the workforce with the help of community partners.

Community Health Worker

A Community Health Worker (CHW) assists individuals by providing health education, advocacy, and support to improve overall well-being. They help connect people to healthcare services, assist with navigating insurance and social services, promote disease prevention, and offer guidance on managing chronic conditions. CHWs also provide outreach, conduct wellness screenings, and address social determinants of health such as housing, food security, and employment. Their goal is to bridge the gap between communities and healthcare systems, ensuring individuals receive the resources and support needed for a healthier life.

Neighborhood Hero's Mentorship Program

A six-week recidivism and diversion program for youth called "I Rise," which promotes self-discovery, growth, and empowerment. The accompanying caregiver course, "Parenting Revised," offers tools and support to effectively parent children who have been incarcerated or troubled, aiming to break the cycle of criminal justice involvement.

Each of these programs is designed to provide youth with the tools, skills, and support they need to thrive in various aspects of their lives.
